The Department of Livestock Production under the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development of Vietnam is a governmental management agency that is in charge of key aspects such as livestock breeding, animal feeds, livestock production practices and livestock waste management.
The Vietnam Dairy Association is a socio-vocational organization that includes 109 official members and six collaborators, who are businesses, farmers, managers, scientists and technicians operating in all areas of milk production, processing and consumption. The association help its members cooperate, support, exchange experiences and improve professional knowledge in line with protecting their legal rights, said Lien, adding that it will provide suggestions and submit petitions to relevant state offices on standards and policies to promote milk production and business.
